La Colina Coffee – Where Dreams Take Root

At Sonreír, we believe in honoring the roots and traditions that shape every cup of coffee. Our latest offering, sourced from La Colina farm, is a testament to this belief. Translated as “The Hill,” La Colina is named after the rolling elevations of the land where it is nestled, a name chosen by Tony Medina’s father and passed down through generations.

Tony Medina’s journey is one of perseverance and passion. Starting with basic grains, Tony always dreamed of cultivating coffee. From working on various coffee farms to planting his first coffee tree in 1991, Tony’s dedication to his dream has flourished into the vibrant farm it is today, 25 years later. Now, La Colina boasts the rich, flavorful varieties of Caturra and Bourbon, with future plans to enhance quality further with new varieties and African raised beds for improved drying.

Each cup of La Colina coffee reflects the dedication, tradition, and love that Tony has poured into his farm. As you savor this coffee, you’re not just tasting the rich, complex flavors that have been carefully nurtured over the years—you’re also experiencing the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, one that aligns perfectly with Sonreír’s mission to honor the roots and traditions of our families.
